A Family of Companies.
A Legacy of Service.

Good Technik Group is the parent organization of Trans Equipment Co., Haverstick Hydraulics, and Good Tech Center. While our name is new, our legacy spans generations. Together, our family of companies provides comprehensive trailer services, hydraulic repairs, fabrication, heavy-duty parts, and technical support across four Pennsylvania locations.

Originally formed in 2024 as TEC Acquisition to purchase Trans Equipment Co, we became Good Technik Group in 2025 when Haverstick Brothers Hydraulics joined the family. The name reflects how all of our equipment, service, and parts businesses fit together under a common umbrella.

Good Tech Center derived from Good Transport Services' Service and Parts business in Columbia. Good Transport Services was originally established in 1943 as Good Live Poultry, which hauled live chickens from the growers to the processors. Over the years the fleet grew from small single axle trucks to 5 axle flatbed tractor trailers.

In 1981 the business expanded into bulk feed transport, and that same year Good's hired its first mechanic to service and maintain the fleet. Shortly after, they built a 3-bay truck shop and hired additional support personnel. The original shop was expanded in 1998, adding six to eight bays to the south of the first structure.

Good Tech Center works on all makes and models, and also has a well-stocked, authorized Kenworth Parts Department. We specialize in customer service before, during and after the repair. Whatever commercial truck repair or replacement parts you need, we take pride in getting you and your vehicle back on the road fast and keeping your vehicle on the road longer.

Trans Equipment Co was started in 1974 by Jay Plank, with six employees. Their initial purpose was to repair and paint semi-trailers, and included suspension, roof, flooring, and door repairs, as well as refurbishing and custom fabrication. In 1977, Trans Equipment became a trailer dealer for Barrett Livestock Trailers, and in six years, had grown enough to build a new ten bay shop on seven acres.

During the early 1980's, the length and width laws changed in the United States, and Trans Equipment was able to refurbish several hundred trailers through our shop in a few short years. They also became a trailer dealer of Ravens Dump Trailers and Bodies.

In 2010, Trans Equipment became a Heavy-Duty Parts Distributor, in addition to the trailer repair, body shop, and sales business. In 2015 and the years following, Trans Equipment expanded their sales department to include Stargate, Extreme, Felling, Hahnz, and Bronton Trailers.

In October 2024, Trans Equipment was acquired and is now housed under Good Technik Group. Today, we continue to specialize in trailer repairs and sales and offer an expanded parts department across two locations — Ephrata and Beavertown — to best serve our customers in the Pennsylvania region.

Haverstick Brothers Hydraulics was founded in 1946 by twin brothers Chester and Lester Haverstick, initially as an automotive repair business. Their original building was a surplus World War II Quonset Hut, which still houses part of that business today in Lancaster, PA.

As their reputation and knowledge of engineer work spread throughout the region, local farmers began bringing machinery to be serviced and repaired. After some time, the brothers ceased working on cars, instead entirely focusing on machining, welding, and hydraulic repairs.

In September 2025, Haverstick Brothers Hydraulics was acquired and is now housed under Good Technik Group. Today, we continue to specialize in hydraulic repairs and parts and have both a service and parts department.
